How to solve lag issue in Android devices?

We all know about lags, delay problems, and others. But they are very common across all kinds of applications and software used by consumers.

The problem does exist and you too might face the same. But there are ways to minimize the lag in your Gameloop and Android devices. There are very specific things that you should do in order to fix lag issue. Here are some steps that you should follow.

Contents

Hardware

If you are an Apple iPads or smartphone user, then you must be aware of the fact that your smartphone is not immune to lag issue.

You might face some lag issue but it is also very rare. The hardware has very little impact on lag in the software. The hardware design only applies to a specific number of phones, like Moto G4 Plus. If you own any other phone then it will face lag issues, simply because they have different specs and hardware.

This is the reason why we recommend you to avoid buying a flagship device, unless you plan to get your hands on the device on or after the launch day. Not only these phone but other high-end devices do have lag issues. Having said that, if you are looking to get your hands on a smartphone, then you should not compromise with the hardware or the camera specifications. As lag is more a software problem.

Stop third-party app development

Third party app development seems to be the biggest cause of lag in your smartphone. Apart from that, software updates and bug fixes don’t come for some days, which also contributes a lot in increasing the lag. Google, Amazon, Uber and even Apple released updates for their software recently and that has worked, to a certain extent.

Get root access

Root access allows you to enable/disable every single action. This includes the most important one, which is bootloader unlock. It does increase the performance of your device. If you are looking to get rid of lag in your phone, then you should definitely get root access to your device. You need to make sure you unlock the bootloader first.

Restart your phone

After getting root access, you can also try to boot into Recovery mode to fix the lag problem on your Android phone. If you haven’t done so yet, you need to unlock the bootloader first. You will be required to put your phone in DFU mode and then, restart your phone in Recovery mode.

Adopt a custom recovery

The next step is getting your hands on a custom recovery, which comes with handy features like rooting and Dalvik debugging. Some third party apps, which come with custom recovery mode also claim to reduce the lag issue. We personally believe in this option, which does help to a certain extent.

Well, these are some of the easiest ways to fix lag issue, but they are not the only ways to get rid of lag. If you still face the lag issues in your smartphone, then there are plenty of other methods that you can try.

Opposite Devices

If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, then you should consider using another smartphone. This might help you to solve lag issue with your Android phone. Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones usually have lag issues. It is a common problem faced by all these smartphones.

But if you are a Google Android user, then you are probably aware of a solution that solves the lag issue in most Android devices. Here is what you need to do:

Tap on settings and look for the “more” option. Then, tap on the “wifi & cellular” option. Tap on “enable Wi-Fi Calling” option. Switch your Wi-Fi network to the “other” network. Make sure the battery is charged. Go to the settings and toggle the “network mode” option to “lowest power”. Now, go to the “wifi” option. Now tap on “scan for networks”. Then, go to the “other” option. The last option is “change network”. Now, your Android device will switch to the “other” network automatically. Now you have saved yourself some time and you can go on with your work.
